The Model 1707B is a general-purpose, wideband
Oscilloscope designed for bench or field service.
The Model 1707B operates from an ac line, dc line
or optional battery pack. The optional ,rechargable
nickel cadmium batteries provide up to 4.5 hours of
operation and require a recharge time of approximately
14 hours. A carrying handle provides ease
of transportation and is adjustable, allowing the
Model 1707B to be placed at an angle for viewing
the CRT.

This manual provides operating and service
information for the Hewlett-Packard Model 1707B
Oscilloscope (figure 1-1). This manual is divided into
eight sections, each covering a specific topic or
aspect of the instrument. All schematics are located
at the rear of the manual. Also located at the rear of
the manual are instruction cards located in an
envelope attached to the inside back cover. These
cards explain the function of each instrument control.
The card is designed to fit the inside lid of the front
panel storage cover.
