Description:
Tracking Generator
Information
The MH680B Tracking Generator is used in conjunction with
the MS61 OB Spectrum Analyzer as a wideband sweep signal
Generator which measures amplitude vs. frequency response by
direct observation. The output frequency of the MH680B when
used with the MS610B can be set in the range from 100 kHz to
2 GHz by using the MS61OB frequency dial.
The output level of the MH680B can be varied continuously in
the range from -10 to 0 dBm.
The MH680B, with the MS610B, can be used to measure the
frequency response of filters, amplifiers, and attenuators.
The device under measurement can be adjusted while directly
observing the characteristics on the MS610B CRT display.
Also the MH680B with the MS610B and a frequency counter, can
be used to measure the accurate frequency and frequency
response.
Impedance can be measured by direct observation using a
directional coupler or a reflection bridge.
